Hello Internet! My name is Myles Power and I am a chemist from the North East of England, who loves to make videos trying to counter pseudoscience and debunk quackery in all of its various forms! From the hype around GMOs through to Atrazine turning the freakin’ frogs gay, I’ll try to cut through the nonsense that’s out there!

  1. Would you mind putting these up for download somewhere?

When I have the time to listen to podcasts is when I’m travelling for work – which in my case means hundreds of kilometers across spotty internet connections. So it’d be really nice to have an already downloaded MP3 to listen to instead of hoping that I can keep a Youtube connection open across a continent.

    Thanks!

  2. My digital piano is connected with my computer, audio and midi. When I play, it’s recorded three times at the same time: camera, audio and midi.. My Logitech webcam records the audio and the? camera part.. I use Finale to record midi. I import the midi in Synthesia and make a screen movie of the playing with QuickTime.. Than I edit the three items into one vid with MediaEdit: the camera mov, the screen mov and the audio.

  3. I’m going to a karaoke party next month, and I’m going to perform “Dust In the Wind” by Kansas. For my outfit, I’m going to wear a University of Kansas t-shirt and cap, but I can’t decide what my stage name should be. I’m trying to think of something that has a city in the state of Kansas, and something that has to do with rock or music. Any suggestions?.
