#187 – The Waco Siege

The Waco siege was a siege of a compound belonging to the group Branch Davidians by American federal and Texas state law enforcement and US military. The siege lasted for 51 days between February 28 and April 19, 1993 and ended with an FBI assault, during which the compound burned down, killing 76 people inside including David Koresh. In this episode, the Nerds talk about the the siege and the documentary Waco:The Rules Of Engagement, which states that the American government set fire to the compound and shot at those trying to escape.
