Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theorists
A sceptical look at claims made by ‘truther’ protestors at ground zero in September 2012 from the viewpoint of a chemist. For those of you who don’t know, a ‘truther’ is a person affiliated with the 9/11 Truth movement, who rejects the official explanation provided for the 9/11 attacks and instead claims that a US government conspiracy was to blame. The videos in this series cover everything from the alleged thermite found in the dust to the collapse of World Trade Centre 7. The videos debunk every claim made by the truthers by looking at the scientific literature and studying real video evidence of the attacks.

Myles, in one of your videos the truthers claimed that the bowing in of the trusses is indicative of a controlled demolition. You said that despite your hardest efforts you weren’t able to find any controlled demolition of that sort. I did a lot of digging and was able to find this video which I think is interesting and I want to see your take on it. I am not saying that this video proves anything, but I think discussing it would be important. I myself am not a truther and have enjoyed watching your videos. I watched all of your videos in one sitting and learned a lot; thanks for your hard work in making these videos. I will share my take on this video with you. I have to say that by watching how the buildings collapse in this video I am not fully convinced that that’s how the twin towers fell. How these buildings collapsed and the twin towers collapsed look different to me when I observe the collapse carefully: it doesn’t look exactly the same. Besides, after the buildings in this video fell as a result of an actual controlled demolition, it didn’t cause any damage to the surrounding area, as was the case with the surrounding area of the wtc towers. The whole purpose of a controlled demolition is to ensure that the collapse of the building falls in such a way so as to not cause any damage to the surrounding area. Now, in this video that I am about to share with you there is no visible damage to the surrounding area after those buildings fell; there was however damage at the wtc site. The buildings in video go off to the side during the beginning of it’s collapse and that is how the upper section of the building falls unto the lower. The twin towers’ upper section of the building on the other hand did not go off to the side during the beginning of it’s collapse but rather the columns bowed inward directly. Another important thing to remember is that one of the towers’ upper section of the building (I don’t remember which one the north or south) started to fall over to the side not long after the collapse began: this is not at all what happens in verinage demolitions. I think that recognizing that difference is crucial in determining whether or not the twin towers were demolished with a verinage demolition. In short, I don’t think that the wtc towers were demolished in any way; I think they fell as a result of the widespread damage caused by the planes and the ensuing fires that followed. Miles thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I think you handled interviewing and questioning of these “truther” (which is joke imo) perfectly. You cant make someone believe no matter what lengths you go to. Some people will be ignorant and will believe what they want. The important thing is to state the facts and move on when someone doesnt agree (which you did perfectly). Its about time someone came out with videos that destroys all those conspiracists with science, physics, chemisty, common sense, and accurate sources.

It was an inside job and your debunking strategy are just lies. I would agree that controlled demolitions are much cleaner than what happened at the WTC, so lets just be straight up and say the towers were wired with explosives to help bring it down. Your videos are lame and debunk nothing.

Elemental iron is a product of the Thermite reaction, along with aluminum oxide. Doesn’t this undermine the argument in part 2?
