   Please, please do a debunking on Anti-vaxxer claims. I and my autistic friends will thank you greatly for this, considering not enough people realize that the paper all these anti-vaxx claims come from has been soundly dropped by the scientific community at large, and by anyone else with half a brain.

   I agree with Kevin Johnson, an episode on the actual history of the Illuminati (the actual thing that died out in the 1800’s, not the supposed New World Order group) would be interesting.

   Hi, I’ve just found your name in the comments of “house of numbers” on youtube and was very glad to look through your debunk. I’m tired of conspiracy theorist and it’s nice to have something well built to oppose to them.
   9/11 comes back regularly in the discussions, and I’m looking forward to watching your version of these.

   On the list of ideas you could investigate, I’m thinking about “the Egyptians received help from Alien technology to build the pyramids” : I saw that in french documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFrGNB5mf1s (the hidden secret of pyramids).

   Ah, and I’m also curious to hear about shale gas extraction, is it an environmental disaster which systematically contaminates underground waters? Or have the industrial people found ways to prove they can actually safely extract that gas? Why is it allowed in the US and not in EU?

   Hi,
   I have been wondering about this idea, that natural is good and artificial is bad. You cover it in some of the episodes on the league of Nerds, but never a specific video on youtube or in an article on this website and I wondered if its a subject matter worth discussing in isolation.
   I also have this problem (somewhat personally), that when discussing science, I believe to do it similar to you, as you state in one of your videos, you tend to look for high regarded,… leaders in their specific fields and educate yourself from them. This is also what I do in all brances of science (be it politics or the use of nuclear energy) I always have the problem that people seem to think, because they present “evidence” that portrays the counter argument to mine, they cancel me out. For example here is the European Academies Science Advisory Council with oppinion X. The counterarguement, is: A video from some guy on tedx… loosely connected to the subject matter. Maybe a crash course video on how to do research “well”? how to decide who one can trust, who should be disregarded.. what to look for, what to avoid? That kind of thing?

   You usually take on documentaries/books videos etc that go against the scientific consensus and who get the science wrong. How about approaching it the other way round. I am currently aiming to find “Pandoras Promise” by Mark Lynas (about Nuclear Energy), who holds a degree in history and politics (so he can get the science wrong), but you could also talk about what he gets right. This way the conversation could be more like: I like how they portrayed x y z.

    Some good ideas up there, I was thinking Foodbabe needs to be taken down a notch. I think people are waking up to her ridiculous nonsense which is actually getting some play in the media. I wanted to punch my computer screen when I read about her promoting raw cow’s milk for infants. It’s also beginning to be clear to people that she doesn’t even believe what she promotes and is a charlatan as her website sells products that contain ingredients that she warns against. Her ridiculous rule to not eat anything containing an ingredient an 8 year old can’t pronounce is just asinine.

    I think she should have her own show but maybe an idea for a TLON episode would be the general appeal of the public for people like Vani, and not just specific to GMO. People like Rachel Parent who someone else mentioned, Alex Jones (oh please more Alex Jones, I know he’s an easy target but it makes me belly laugh), Mark Dice, David Icke, Mike Adams, Jeff Smith, organizations like the Center for Food Safety, AE911, the AAAS, Greenpeace, Consumers Union etc.. I know it’s more sociology and psychology than biochemistry and physics like you generally focus on for TLONs but I think it’s important to understand why people appeal to and believe this nonsense as it gives insight into how to change their generally unchangeable minds.
